User Choice funding considerations

User Choice funding considerations

As a pre-qualified supplier Efficiency Works is now able to offer subsidised training to eligible Queensland students via the 2019-20 Annual Investment Plan.  For eligible students a government mandated fee must be charged by Efficiency Works and this is called the student contribution fee.  This can be paid by your employer.

The student contribution fee amounts are calculated using the nominal hours for the units of competency selected for the training as follows:

$1.60 per nominal hour for the enrolled units of competency

MSS40316 Certificate IV in Competitive Systems and Practices

  • Typical nominal hours for our Cert IV course MSS40316 are 540 hours which will result in a student contribution fee of $864

MSS30316 Certificate III in Competitive Systems and Practices

  • Typical nominal hours for our Cert III course MSS30316 are 420 hours which will result in a student contribution fee of $672

Please have your employer check with us for your eligibility.  If you are eligible for the funding the student contribution fee represents the entire amount that has to be paid by you or your employer.

There are rules and expectations for students accessing government subsidised training places.
