You need to Pivot in this COVID world - how to get your mission statement right!

When our business is affected by external factors, we need to assess the impacts and determine a response. In Lean Six Sigma we often use PDCA or Hoshin Kanri to adjust, update or pivot our strategy.

However, often like an episode in "The Office", we get stuck on terms and phrases on what our pivot should be defined as. We are paralysed with debate as we consult on our mission that really should be simple enough to align our new efforts to mitigate these external factors.

This is waste.

So how can we get to the 'mission statement' efficient and effectively defined so we can then get back to our customers and our peoples.
