the brief
This client operates in a fast developing sector of the oil and gas industry.
They were growing their business at an alarming rate and struggling with the transition from a small company to a much larger corporation in a highly regulated industry. The transition would require high levels of engagement from staff across the organisation to develop efficient systems and processes.
the execution
Efficiency Works was engaged to deliver competitive systems and practices training across a broad range of disciplines from field staff to engineering design to administration and finance. Over a number of years, continuous improvement tools and techniques were introduced and standardised for more than 120 staff who then facilitated improvement projects with their teams across the organisation. Efficiency Works facilitated workshops with management to ensure they were able to fully support the culture.
the results
We helped the client achieve:
-
a CI culture embedded across the organisation
-
standard processes for process improvement
-
the review of most management systems
-
a common language for CI
-
significant financial and non-financial benefits
-
financial benefits of several million dollars
